whenver i brake strongly i hear a popping noise it also happens on sharp turns and bumps like when pulling into a gas station and if i pull out of a gas station at like 10-15 mph of so my car seems to get thrown back and forth alot. i also pulled into a eckerd the other day goin 10 mph or so and i turned in making a right and it felt like my anti-lock brakes kicked in when i hit the bump entering the parking lot almost like a wheel was lifting

The knocking in there rear of the car is most likely the rear strut mounts. Might also be front mount/bearings. Have you looked the springs over? The fronts, if stock, have been known to break. How old is the suspension? Did the Po replace any part of it? If not, then you may have week springs and struts, which can/will cause alot of pitching going over bumps. Week or broken struts will make noise.

Some popping can be heard when sway bar links are bad as well.
Funny as it may sound, check to make sure all the wheel nuts are tight/ torqued to spec.

The CV joints could be on the way out, if it sounds more like a clicking while turning.

These cars are somewhat riggid and in some instances as you described, the car can tripod on exit/entering drives. This could be the reason for the ABS feel.

Just a few thoughts of the top of my head.

i also have a problem with my power steering it is weak whenever you are parking or in any situation that the car isnt getting rpms above idol it tightens up after a good turn of the wheel is sorta makes a clicking type of squeeling sound when you turn the wheel ( i was told the power steering pump is on its way out) it seems to make the noise with the power steering when it is cold but it is always tight when stopped could that play a factor in this?
