Help with Mod ideas for 97 SHO

What are your 1/4 mile times? 0-60? Just curious. That is amazing, 300+ hp to the ground! eek!

The outer covering is the chrome trim that holds everything together. The Yamaha logo is the same size as the chrome piece.

Does the Yamaha badge fit right over the chrome piece, or do you have to pry the chrome piece off of the car and just place the Yamaha sticker over the Ford one?

Wow that engine looks awesome!! thumbs_u thumbs_u Did you paint that or did it come like that? And what the **** is in place of your air filter? It all looks trick though!

A Vortech 12 PSI centrifigal Supercharger and a Bosch 9psi blow-off valve. I painted it myself.

Can't post the time as it was not documented, but suffice to say it beat the **** out of the stock runs.

What do you mean that it is not documented? Do you mean that you never ran it at the track, or that you just lost the timeslip? What kind of cars are you out-running? That will give us a good measure of how well these supercharger mods helps out these cars. BTW, those are some badass hp #'s, to be puttin on the ground!

When I went to the shack on the return road to pick up the slip he said the printer had been jammed up for like the last 7 runs and they had announced it over the PA (imagine not being able to hear the PA in the staging lanes at a dragstrip, eh?). In any case I have been getting picked on by Vets and Vipers, mind you not beating them when they get hooked up but funny as **** seeing the expressions on their faces as I come out of first gear ahead of them. In any case it is more often then not the Z-28's and Stangs that see the "Got Boost" on the back window. My best run was against a prepaired street Nova. He got a lot of wheel hop and I beat him to the lights.

Yes I do remember exactly what it was, but that was only off board and not in print. Again, I will not post it as I cannot back it up with written proof, YET. Of couse the work I am ding on it now wll improve it's launch considerably and I fully expect to be in the 11's as a result.

THAT...kicks ass. Ya gotta love a family ride that'll just **** a built GTP, Mustang GT or LS-1 Camaro. And it doesn't even have a gutted interior! I'm definately getting mine blown with the Shoperformance kit!

Um...if there built also then more than likely not. Especially the Mustang and LS-1's. And I'll gaureentee that he won't **** built GTP's either. Most yes but there are more of them in the 11's and 12's now then there ever will be SHO's.

You're right. There never will be that many SHO's running that fast. That's why I bought a SHO, and not a GTP. The GTP has become as common as a Camaro or Mustang. And when I mentioned the Camaro's and Mustangs, you might notice that I did not say "built". There is NO stock block, heads and cam GTP running as fast as Arkansho's car. Arkansho's car has the stock block, heads and cams. Compare apples to apples, and you'll get the picture.

Yeah but it's probably better to look at it in terms of dollars spent in modifications. I'll bet you gotta spend WAAAAAAAAY more to get a SHO into the 12s than a GTP
