Help with electronic cliamte control

My electronic climate control makes a squeeling sound from it when I start my 89 SHO for about 30 seconds then stops. It also keeps the heat on high no matter how I change the settings on the readout, help....

Sounds like there is a problem with the control head itself due to the heat being on all the time. However, is the noise coming from the dash area or the control head? If it's coming from the dash area and not the control head I would say there is also a problem with the blower motor.

Noise is def. coming from control unit.
