Which type of clutch for a new compressor do I order:

1. 10P15F clutch
2. FS10 with back 3/8" spacer clutch
3. FS10 with front 3/8" spacer clutch

Also it's for a 1993 MTX SHO...?

Thanks, I think I got a deal at $130 from eBay.

Any help on converting from R12 to R134a with no chance of leaks? New lines from the drier? Anything else a universal retrofit kit?

What brand is the compressor? It is wise to use Ford original, or another NEW compressor. If you must use a rebuilt, you want to make sure that it isn't one of the cheap ones that are barely remanufactured.

It's a NEW aftermarket just didn't know what compressor clutch to get.

Just O-rings and orifice, I have a few lines that are rusty near the radiator is that the lines to the condenser and accumulator?

I would replace the accum. too. If cost isn't an issue I would replace any lines that look suspect. Otherwise, it should be fine so long as it holds vacuum. Make sure all r-12 is evacuated as the 2 refr. don't mix well. Maybe a good flush.

Make sure to use POE or Ester oil, if you are going to recharge with R-134a, unless you flush out the entire system. Even still, from what I have read, POE is better than the standard factory fill PAG for keeping away moisture in the system (which is what kills it).
