My rear / right side chain tensioner.. the upside down one... the pad is shot.. and falling apart. I have a spare for the left or front one. Are these the same? Can I use the spare? I know the bore appears to be a little different, but is it possible to swap the pad from the front one ? Thanks as always!

Well.. I guess the guy from the machine shop, says they are a little different, as far as the plunger part, and dosent' believe that I could swap the actual plunger part from the spare front one I have. This sound right? Anyone have one if its not?

Time to post up in the want to buy section. Or check with midnight auto parts. eBay ID is: midnightautoparts

I'd be surprised if he didn't have one for you.

I recommend checking a junkyard. Here in baltimore there is a large junkyard chain called crazy rays with 4 or 5 locations I think. Last time I went, I saw 3 shos with motors in tact. That was 3 months ago.

I need to make my rounds so I can get a new timing belt cover door. It's just been so f'in cold the last couple weeks. Freaking winter is here... finally.
