Hi Guys,
just wanted to know as to what would happen if i go ahead with Port/polished Intake/BBB and the pipes leading to the heads, Bigger TB/Maf/injectors/Fuel Pump/Regulator/Cams without doing Pistons. Will i have an issue with power loss?????????

I really need your expert advise on this.
Any help would be great.

first off, i don't see the need for bigger injecters unless you're planning on spraying or forcing air in. as far as everything else, you should see decent power gains as long as your engine's maintained and it's all tuned properly. if it were me, i'd forgo the injecters and fpr for a tweecer and get it tuned right. generally speaking, aside from the fuel pump, the stock fuel system's pretty stout when staying naturally aspirated.

I see a bunch of induction mods......

Do you plan to "exhale" also? Those mods are pointless if you leave the airflow unbalanced.....

IF you ahve aqn MTX, Save on all the money needed for all those parts and just get as JY 3.2 shortblock. THe gains will be better and you'll spend a fraction of the amount.

What year SHO do you have?
ATX or MTX?

Skip the injectors and fuel pressure regulator.

N/A mods are salty for these cars. You won't see big ganes from any single bolt on, however if you install a few its a noticible increase.

You will need a descent exhasut with all that. You can do all this , except the MAF , the injectors and the 40+ cams (each or all together) WILL need a tweecer , like it or not.

+20 cams can go without a tweecer If I recall , But the 40+ cams needs a higher idle - it wont keep up with a stock tune.

So mine is a 91 mtx. engine is in excelent shape. I have the tweecer R/T and hope to go into a turbo next summer(once i get all the parts).

So when it comes to the 3.2 block - could you explain a bit more pls.

So if i lay off the injectors/FPR and FPump and work with tweecer should the mods work with positive gains????

If the tweecer is out of the question then what mods should i go with????

When you say decent exhaust... what should i look into????

before i finish tks alot for your input on this..... appreciate everything.

Just do a search on 3.2 swap. There are a lot of topics on this here. Read them all , as they all have info about about what parts to use from each motor. You'll be using parts from each if you do this set up.

y pipe

Get a mandrel bent ypipe and do the rest larger maf, port polish intake, and BBB. Tear out the air horn if you haven't already. K&N air filter if you don't have one. I'd recommend underdrive pulley also to reduce a bit of parasitic power loss.
