as soon as i got home, i checked for codes. all i received is:

214 (M) Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal

anyone know what that is? this is the first time i ever received that code.

then i proceeded to relocate the sho, no start, no crank, no nuthin. so i go back in the engine bay to make sure everything was connected, but it was all good. i did fill up the sho with gas 30 mins prior and it started fine, good thing i just got home when it decided not to start.

the only thing i can think of is the starter, i hope that's it. i'll wait for the car to cool off and start it again. i replaced the starter about 1 1/2 yrs ago. anyone have any ideas?

thanks!

Your CID is the a sensor located on the rear exhaust cam on the passenger side. Failure of this sensor will cause your car not to start. The cylinder identification sensor is a black circle with a plug going to it. Search and you will find pics of where it's located and what exactly it does.
