So my SHO wouldn't start the other night, no fuel pressure at the valve on the manifold. it has done this a few times before and we have checked the switch and everything but then a day later it will work, we came to the conclusion that the pump is cutting in and out and it's on it's last leg. So we found the pink/black wire from the switch/relay to the front relay module and tested the voltage. We think the bad fuel pump messed up the old control box/module and fried something cause it's not sending any voltage to the fuel pump. We bypassed it and supplied a 12v source and got it to work but then it wouldn't later so it's definitely the pump cutting in/out. So my smartass dad goes to the junkyard and buys a relay control module out of a 94 Taurus. Plugged it in and it worked, so we can now put in the new fuel pump theoretically without having a burnt out box. The problem is that the 'new' box has a different part # than the old box. My old box was F1DF-XXXXXXXX and the new one is F3DF-XXXXXXX, everything is the same except for the F1/F3 which just means 91/93. Is there a difference between a 94 taurus relay module and a 93 SHO relay module? Oh and where should I get the fuel pump for cheap cause kragens wants like $100. Thanks!
