help me find this noise

i have a creaking/popping noise coming from the driver front wheel that only pops/creaks when i turn around a corner with the drive train flexing..also when i go over a sharp speed bumb you will hear it....only sometimes i have heard what it feels like my whole drivetrain shift... or something shift in the front... i have replaced the cv axle because that was my first guess when i heard the popping..... any ideas...also my front and rear motor mount are creased and toast which i didnt think i could be related

If you know the engine mounts are bad, I'd take care of those first. They could be causing some or all of the noises, but you won't know until you fix them.

It may be the strut tension rod bushings and a loose receptacle cup in the frame. A TSB details the problem and solution. The cup can be accessed for welding simply by removing the forward nut on the tension rod and the bushing half behind it. Then drive it home and take it apart to replace the bushings at the forward end and atthe LCA end. The Energy Suspension bushing kit is the way to go, PN 4.7119G . This repair/upgrade made a big difference on my SHO.
