Hey guys.

Spec s3 clutch and shonut TOB are on the way. Since the 3.2 wont be going in with the clutch as i hoped i figured i might as well do a full top and front 60k while the motor is out right?

My question for you fellas,
Ive used the sho pheonix project site as a reference for whats needed (parts wise) to do a full top and front 60k. I literally went down this list: http://www.shophoenixproject.com/lower60k/60kparts.htm and I've already ordered everything listed and then some (rod bearings, oil pan gasket etc.).

Are there any misc parts NOT listed on Pheonixproject that i'll need to do my 60k? Id hate to be in the middle of it to find something i need wasnt listed, espicially since alot of parts/gaskets/sensors aren't available locally.

I'm not the brightest crayon in the crayola box so if theres anything not listed in said link, please let me know, even if it is obvious, i have a knack for overlooking the obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Very excited and scared to perform this top/front 60k.

hey, THAT'S where I got my avatar title from! Hope you don't mind I'm using it too... I knew somebody else had it, and that's where I got mine from, but couldn't remember where...

Anyway, the list looks to be about as complete as I can think of. I certainly can't add anything to the list. In fact, the list has a little more than is strictly necessary to do a 60K.

You'll need black sensor safe RTV for the oil pan, cylinder cover installation, and outer perimeter of the camshaft seals if using the Felpro set. I advise getting the Ford OEM front main seal PN E9DZ-6700-B instead of the National one. It's a good time to change the two rear heater hoses, NAPA 10774 and 10079, because they can be reached much easier with the intake off and the cooling system is already drained.
