Help identify this vintage performance stuff (pics)

Hypertech chip , is this any good? Is this reprogrammable?

Mystery MAF , its huge (specially the core , the tube isnt THAT big), looks like factory electronics. It even has the 3 holes to screw it in the airbox.

The Hyper tech chip is good for upping the rev limit and thats it. As far as i know its not reprogram-able by anyone who deals with SHOs.

I'm interested in the hypertech chip also. I was given one for free when I went to buy a set of seats recently. I installed it and it does up the rev limiter and it also appears to make the secondaries kick in earlier, but I could be wrong.

I'd like to know if it's necessary to run higher octane fuel with it.
