Hey need some help guys, I got a 90 SHO ,5spd of coarse. Anyway the clutch pedal went to the floor last week and after a little investigation found the clutch cable had snapped. So today after i replaced the cable and took the car for a test drive i found the clutch pedal wasnt coming back up fully. I did the self adjustment lifting the pedal but its not right. After you take off from a stop as you accelerate you can feel the pedal travel down so i "ratchet" the pedal back up with the corner of my boot and shift into second when u shift into third you get a shudder or some kind of pulsing felt through the clutch pedal as you release it.
Any ideas? Did the gear quadrant and pawl get stripped or messed up when the cable snapped? It ratchets up then shudders thats the cycle so Im wondering if the shudder is the quadrant slipping??? Any advice or ideas would be a great help as this is my daily driver and need to get it back on the road soon.
