Hello there,
I stopped my SHO 94 ATX for one month or so and went on my vacation.
Back home now, I think that something runs wrong. Indeed, after a stop I can push ******* the gas , (like 3.0 or 3.5 rpm) but still the car won't respond accordingly. It is after five to seven seconds that the car will suddenly accelerate in a very sudden move.
Please tell me, what's wrong? I didn't change my transmission fluid for 40k miles, can transmission fluid change fix the problem?. Or may this be the first signal of the transmission dying? How about the plugs?(there used to be oil in the wells but I dried it out). Also my CE light come on and off intermittently.
I know nothing in mechanics, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Read your codes, links to instructions for how to do so are in my signature.

Sounds like you should start saving for a new tranny though! frown

I think I've found your problem... you have a ATX! No honestly start with SHOooo's suggestion and check your codes, he has multiple links in his sig to follow.
