Heater Help!!

low on coolant or thermostat is stuck open this is normal problem with the sho replace the thermostat

Or it could be your divirter valve (can't remember the technical name). It's the unit inside your dash that controls where the air comes from and where it goes.

When you switch from cool to heat, can you hear a "flump" noise?

1. Check coolant level.
2. Do you smell coolant inside the car(heater core failure)?
3. Blend door.... do the self test Rockledge described.
4. How warm does your car get (how high is the temp guage)?

ok i found out what happend.......i have a aftermarket radio and i hooked up a switch to the antenna...well i guess the nut came off and was grounding out the heater,,,i drove 15 hours in the snow home to KY with no heat...i was misrable, but on the way home i was all warm and nice
