On my 93 ATX, I cannot control the fan with the variable speed adjuster. It's either wide open or off. When I have it wide open, it turns on and off every now and then. Sometimes really fast almost like a short circuit or something. Is this the BCM or something else possibly? Figure I better get it fixed before the cold gets here, even though I'm not sure how much winter driving it will see. Thanks in advance.

There is a blower control module that is what actually adjusts the speed of the fan through a pwm circuit. This goes bad from time to time. I would look for a good one at the jy, any Taurus/Sable 93-95 with the eatc will have the correct module.

Yeah. Go to http://www.shopowered.com/diagrams/ and look at HVAC overview 1. This is for the first Gen, but second should be pretty darn similar. If you look in the column with the harness plugs, the BCM is near the bottom and has a white sticker on it.

It is also labeled on the Explosion drawing, 19E624
