It was working fine last nite, I went to go somewhere and the blower was not on.

I checked the fuses under the dash and the hood. All are good.

I swapped out a known good EATC still no blower.

Do these just fail without warning? Could it be the resistor module?

Any troubleshooting help will be much appreciated. It is -15*C all week.

~~~~Possibly unrelated but I will throw it out there anyway. Before I started the car, I replaced the cam position sensor. Any chance there are wires in the vicinity of the sensor I may have inadvertently disconnected?
The blower control module has an integral high blower speed function. Usually when the unit fails, it is the lower speeds that fail.
Try the high fan position on the blower wheel, there is a good chance it still works.
If you find the blower doesn't work at all when you turn the wheel to the top, it will be either the blower control module, or the fan motor itself (which in this case, is a strong possibility). You can buy both brand new on RockAuto (module is $225.00 to $238.00 wow) or you can post on this forum (where the module will be in the $30.00 to $40.00 range). The fan motor, you can get locally as it fits many Taurus models.
I guess the SHO fairies came last nite. I went out to move the car to the garage to start fixing and the blower was all good.
I think I will harvest the blower from my parts car just in case.
