How much of a PITA is it to change? I have an 89 with manual controls. It is stuck on defrost no matter where the switch is... :banghd:

mine stickes too ac will go cold for a sec then goes warm the door is bronken

I dont know about the manual control and the blend door but you can find a bunch of posts using the search feature.The whole dash will need to come out...that much I know!
There are ways to bypass..do a search.
Cost of repair for my 1989 with climate control at the shop is about $1000.00
