Id rather replace them. I dont think i can do that sanding and polishing for 6-8 hours, id go nuts. Thanks for the info.

first you should read the post on head light restoration, i know im gonna give ia shot if that isnt gonna cut it the try good ol EBAY

I tried the dealer... Gen 1 headlamps are discontinued, But I can get em for $71 new from an aftermarket place. I'm going with HID's in afew months and the foggy yellow lenses would kinda cancel the effect. :thumb:

I just ordered a set of headlights for my Gen I from HeadlightWarehouse.com. They are $66.80 each with $9.75 shipping via UPS ground. I tried the refinishing process, but more than a quarter of a million miles, many of them at highway speeds, has deeply sandblasted the plastic of the lenses. To remove the amount of plastic necessary to eliminate the pits would undoubtedly leave the surface not quite flat and affect the light aiming.
