how can i get my headlight cover clear again they are getting old and realy cloudy any ideas

I wet sanded mine with 1500, then 2000 paper. After they are nice and smooth you need a good high speed polish to bring them back alive. This can all be done by hand in an hour or so. If they are not too bad you may try the polish first.

Mine were so bad that I had to start with 800 grit first. Now they look new.

if it's just cloudy, I've heard an acrylic cleaner will help this, or something like a fireplace glass cleaner? I've never had direct experience with this, just things I've heard along the years.
