Headlights, those lovely headlights....

Hey all,

Not to long ago, someone posted a link to a shop that sold new replacement headlights for a number of different cars, including ours, at a rather inviting price.

Does anyone know what that link is?

I'm ready to buy my new headlights, but I'd rather spend less.

Help would be appreciated!!!

I think it's cheaper to buff them out, ala Kirk Doucette method.

I tried that, didn't work, mine were pretty bad.

I just found the link on the v8sho website and I just ordered new ones. Two for $217. 53 incl. shipping.

Fine by me, it was more expensive through the dealership even when I worked there.

I used "Mothers plastic polish" on mine, (over 100,000 highway miles), and it seemed to work pretty well, (they were not that far gone and it took quite a bit of elbow grease). I also installed aftermarket bulbs. The combination of the two made a remarkable difference.

They're pretty nasty, Kirk.

I'd be surprised if you could get them clean. I'll know more about that when the new ones get here, I'm also going to get the brighter bulbs ( PIAA hyperwhites?? ) and hopefully, I'll be able to see at night.
