head gaskets on 3.0 and 3.2

hi all,i bought some head gaskets off ebay the guy got from the ford motor co.i called ford and the ## match up.but not all the water holes dont line up.oil does.now this is a 94 mtx.but in the auto trader it said it was a 3.2.all the parts i bought are for a 3.0.all thay all work right.but i guess what im asking is what are the diffrences between the two.all the water holes accept the biger ones on the sides of the gaskets.

well i cant answer your question but i do know that you will need 3.0 hg to match the 3.0 motor. if you want to sell the 3.2 hg pm me so then you can get a set of 3.0 gaskets.

With exception of the bore, the 3.0 and 3.2 are identical. Unless a conversion has been done or the block has been bored, ALL SHO MTX are 3.0l

I don't understand how the "water holes" don't line up, unless you have the gaskets turned upside down and on the wrong head (maybe). OR they are not SHO gaskets.

Like Eric says, coolant passage holes in the head gaskets are much smaller than the corresponding holes in the block and head.
