Has anyone tried these or know anything about them. I found a set of head bolts on autoparts warehouse. Here's the part number DNJHBK411.

The cost is the same that ford told me I'm wondering if there getting them from the same place. Ford said they were coming out of atlantla.

2.5/3.0l duratec cylinder head bolts are the same thread. Just need 3/8 inch cutoff with band saw... Don't worry about the shoulder length of the main shaft it does not make contact with the head....

Check out Rock Auto...

I was just curious if those head bolts were worth it. Ford found me some new ones for 40 so I was just curious. If it all falls through I may try the duratech bolts

There may not be any motorcraft bolts left but the dealer I used to work at managed to find a supplier either in atlanta or the mid west somewhere. Forget which. They had me on the phone for thirty mins. If I can figure out where ill let everyone know. Ill probly be getting them in the next week or so.

You have some options here...

1 bolt Ford $40.00 I think times "8" $320.00

or...

34 duratec bolts for $320.00

If anyone is getting them out of Atlanta, they are probably coming from Doug at FPS. IIRC, he had new ones on his shelf when I was there. Expect the cost to be high though, no matter where you get 'em.

I'd reuse the old ones if it was me. A couple guys have done that and had no ill effects. I believe one of them has an M90 perched on top the intake too.

Where did you get 320 from? I was told 40 for what I needed for the front. Not 40 a peice.

Sorry, I thought you were qouting per bolt. I would not be surprised if they were $40.00 a piece from Ford. Sorry about that...

That's fine I was surprised when he told me 40 for the front set. I'm hoping to order them this week. But might wait another two weeks. Let's hope my ears wernt playing tricks that day. If they wernt. Is everyone interested in the suppliers name?
