The clear plastic instrument cover is pretty hazy. Anyone know any way to get rid of the haze or should I be looking to buy a new one? I tried windex & rubbing alcohol but the haze came right back. THanks all.

sorry to say,but its probably time for a new one.the material used for the cluster lens is a polycarbonate or styrene-acryle-nitrate,more than likely the styrene for cost savings. The haze is probably very fine scratches, and polishing wont fix it. The best way to clean this stuff is to use a soft cloth or old towel with windex, nothing stronger, some cleaners will etch the surface, also dont use Paper towels they are too abrasive on the plastic Good luck

I cleaned the one in my 93 Sable with plastic polish, and it did a fine job, but took over an hour. It's definately easier to just by a new one, and not too expensive, but considerably costlier than plastic polish.
