Ok i had a misfire problem intermittenly after having a full 60k done but the cam sensor wasn't done so i replaced it and it was fine then all the sudden it misfired and will not start and a code is not thrown. It turns over but once it goes to start it jus stops... Any ideas???

Pull the codes. Maybe you installed the spark plug wires wrong during the 60k. Maybe your DIS isn't grounded. Maybe there is a big vacuum leak. Pull the codes and see what comes up.

pull the codes... ive also heard of a timing belt skipping a gear... but im not sure if that is on newer timing belts or worn out ones... did you do the 60k or someone else... was the CKPS gapped correctly?

Check the easy stuff first. Make sure the spark plug wires are fully connected and routed correctly. Look for bad grounds like the one at the firewall and make sure all the bolts are installed on the intake manifold. One grounds the DIS module ont he side of the intake. Might have jumped time, maight have a failed sensor, might have blown a sparkplug out of the hole, might have a chunk of catalyst sucked up there. Could be anything. Eliminate the easy to get to stuff first.

I'm willing to bet that the timing belt may be off buy a few teeth from the line up line. I just remember reading this in another thread some time ago. Try doing a search regarding starting issues and timing belt.

I wouldn't worry about that so much. Very unlikely. If it happened just after someone worked on it then chances are good that that's where the problem is coming from. You'll have to go back and check the work. I don't know if I would trust the same person to fix it.
