i have a 1993 sho. ive been having some trouble with it. ive already hooked it up to a modis and found out theat my egr valve is broken. the trouble ive been having is that the car will just shut off when i am driving. any suggestion to what it could be. thanks.

alot of people that think they have a prob with the egr valve end up finding it's actually the dpfe or the egr snorkel passages are clogged. Did you check these issues?

I'm not really sure what a "modis" is, but a bad EGR valve generally won't cause the car to just quit. There could be a hundred different reasons why your SHO is quitting however, with the most common being a bad fuel pump or cranshaft position sensor.
Your first step should ALWAYS be to check your SHO's trouble codes. It's very simple and it doesn't take any special tools (just a paper clip). Here's a great link that shows exactly how to check your codes, and there's another link further down on that page that will tell you what the codes mean. Since you have a 93 SHO, you'll have 3-digit codes.

Last to Know
Look for a water pump leak. It drips on the crank sensor and kills the motor. When it dries out, away you go again - till the next time.
