Have an issue need help

Got everything working good finally had to replace the brand new ICM because for some reason it died on me and stopped firing cylinders 2 & 6 now numbers 2 & 6 have stopped working again for some reason my car keeps killing the ICM is this a frequent issue for the 1995 sho 3.0l mtx?? If so what causes this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

are they Ford units or aftermarket
what codes showed up the second time it failed
Did you apply heat sink paste on the backside of the module when you replaced it. Heat needs to be passed to the crossover tube or the module will fail early
