has anyone swapped manifolds with the engine in?

like the title says. i have given up on my guy that was doing my exhaust and now i need to tow it back home and either get the old studs out or swap in new(ish) manifolds and put the stock y pipe back on

yes i am already kicking myself for not doing this a month ago but o well.

so if anyone has manifold swapping expirence (or a tow dolly, trailer, truck) and wants to give me a hand in the next day or so PM me or respond here and help me get the SHO on the road.

yep, i did it a couple weeks ago on my '92...it's a PITA, but you can do it. just need to be creative getting the sockets on the nuts and the wrench into the sockets. i think it took me around an hour to do both.
