You put a block of wood on the frame and raise the breaker bar handle a few inches above it. Then it will develop some momentum before it whacks the frame.
That's how I've done it....never seen bump-start not work but I'm sure it's totally possible. Otherwise you can cut the collar off the bolt head with a hole saw or otherwise sharp power tool....but then u gotta find a new bolt, which isn't fun, but it solves the immediate issue.
Exactly what happened with my SHO, the starter method FAILED. I did it over and over, swapped batteries and still failed. I tried 4 different impacts, all failing. I ended up drilling into the ****** all around, then it broke loose with an impact.
The bump-start method didn't work? Get a bigger, better wrech/rachet/socket. Something has to break.
If it is still drivable, you can take it to a heavy equipment shop that does truck tires and such. They'll have an impact gun and compressor that can pop it loose.
