I am new to this news group and have a few questions on my newly aquired 95 SHO ATX (79000 miles).
When starting it, it seems to take ~ 3-5 seconds to start. Usually if it won't start immediately it always starts right up the second try. Thoughts?
As for what trannsmission fluid to use, I have seen previous e-mail threads on the use of Redline. I am wondering about using Valvoline synthetic. Reason being that the T-Tech service (100% fluid flush) offered at Valvoline is able to use synthetic in place of the regular fluid for $20 dollars more. Is this a good alternative?

Thanks and great SHO forum!

what is the total price for that service?

i've been looking into doing this also,

but would really rather the redline but at $10 a quart.....whoa!!

well from what these guys say about it, i guess it might be worth it in the long run.

Tony the total price for the service is $79 for regular trannsmission fluid and $99 for synthetic. I'm leaning towardss the synthetic even though it isn't the redline.
