It does'nt want to start unless you hold it to the floor. whats this? 210,000mi.Don't know much about this 96' execpt the privious owner spent thousands & thousands on dealer repairs according to reciepts

Thank you, thats a point to start the process. I have'nt had a chance to run codes yet and it seems to run ok after its warm.

I agree. Flooring the throttle while cranking will shut off the flow of fuel. If that's what it takes to get the car started, there is probably fuel present in the cylinder(s) already.
