Ok. I absoulutely give up. I can't get the damn foglights out! I need to replace them! Is there a proper way to take these things off? I'm ready to take a hammer to them! rant headbang

I've tried using a philips from the front, but one is buried under the bumper and the other makes me nervous b/c I don't want to crack the bumper while putting a screwdriver next to it. I've been trying to get these b@satards out for about a month now!

Please help!

Get some "PB Blaster"

Soak them once a day (or more) for a few days, then try removing them. It should help with the rust considerably.

OK. I got them off. Used a ratchet. Sheered the bolts. headbang Those things were rusty. I had to use a 11mm closed end wrench for the other side to prevent it from sanpping the bolts.

DAH! headbang

Now I have to get new bolts, but I can't get them out of the brackets in the bumper!

Sounds like a good plan. These things are really stuck.
