Gauges I Need Help

I need help I'm putting some gauges in my 95. I'm putting air-fuel, oil pressure, and voltmeter. The voltmeter I knowto hook that up. But the air -fuel and the oil pressure I'm not sure. The air-fuel to the O2 sensor not sure what wire do I hook it up to? The oil gauge I have no clue.

oil pressure gauge is easy to install....get your car up on ramps, look behind the engine block and you will see where the stock oil pressure sending unit is. Its like a stubby looking bolk with an elbow wire attached to it closer to the drivers side. you will need to split off this port to keep your stock oil pressure light still active. Come off that port with a T splitter and run your wire (or teflon hose for mechanical gauges) up thru the firewall and to your gauge.

the cheapie (narrowband) air fuel gauges are nothing more than a light show. They bounce around so much... if you just want it for looks, then go for it. But if you want true a/f monitering, then you need a wideband sensor. Josh at shonut sells them (I believe). They are about 8X the $ ($330), but are essential for FI or if you are tweaking the stock programming with a tuner, or if you want real data to read from your a/f.
If you still go with the $40 narrowband, I will try to get you the proper colored wire that you need to splice into at the 02 sensor...

IMO, a trans temp gauge is an absolute must for all ATX'es. ;)

As such, here's one possible mounting spot for the temperature sender:

I am also putting oil pressure in....
So, the place were you put the OP gauge line in, is the oil warning light? couldnt you just leave it off? or would that make the light stay on all the time??
i think i have the right T to put in... but, if i can just plug the OP gauge in, w/out having the light come on.... then i'll do that...

also... is the teflon line that they give you with the kit ok to use? my dad says that line will cost me my motor. Because it will heat up(cool down), crack and.. you know the rest....

Use a brass T-fitting in the oil pressure idiot lamp sending unit location. One leg goes to the idiot lamp sender, the other to the oil line (or sending unit) for your oil pressure gauge.

Located on the back of the block, below the head, near the tranny.

Id also suggest to stay away from teflon line. I use tape, but VERY lightly, and deep on the threads. You do not want that crap in your oiling system.

I'm using a all elec. gauges. Mine has a elec. sender for the oil pressure everyone is telling me to use a tee so I can use both(stock and new gauge) together so the light won't stay on. I saw a pic of someone who has done it but I need that pic again so I can see wher it is.
