Ok so one thing I have noticed is one problem happens with my car everything happens. I had a issue with a pulley and I fixed it. Since I took the battery out I changed my terminals as well. Well Now While im driving and when I give it gas my climate control goes off then starts flashing . Also I notice the overdrive light goes from bright to dim .

I checked the terminals and they seem clean and on good. Anyone have any ideas?

Was this problem around before you messed with the terminals? If not, they are the problem.

Your problem is an inconsistency in the electrial/charging system probably caused by a bad ground or connection with the battery.

No I didnt have the issue till I put new terminals on. I will get back out there and tinker with it some more

Well, if you didn't have problems till you messed with the terminals that tells you where the problem is.

By flashing do you mean dimming, then brightening?? If so, that is would be the alternator cutting in and out rapidly. Get the charging system tested. I had a similar issue a while back, and a new alternator fixed it.

I would definitely test the alternator. I have seen many straight out of the box be defective.

I dont get it though. The only 2 things that flash(pulse) are the OD light and the climate control. Everything else such as the radio, dash, etc are just fine .

Well, that would solve your immediate problem. But then it would create a new one, as in no transportation. My advice would be that if there are no ill effects from the "flashing", to just ignore it. Electrical gremlins are very difficult to trace. It the problems they cause are just an annoyance, it is usually better to just live with them.

I tried all day yesterday to ignore the problem . And the OD light is easy. Its just watching the Climate control display go blank then start flashing off and on while im driving down the road thats killing me.

I guess its hard o explane so im going to get in the car and drive down the street and take a video of it.

UPDATE. .. THis car kills me . I get in to take video and it mysteriously stopped doing it. I just dont get it. I have owned many cars and this car is possesed and has a temper. ..BLAH

The repair facility I took my SHO to had to replace the alternator three times within the period of a month. Good thing I paid to have it done once and got it done the other two times for free. If I had to change it myself three times I would definitely have been cussing.
