ground effects

ive been noticing that on certain shos the ground effects are different than others. ive noticed that on some the ends seem to buldge out a bit where as others are pretty much straight the whole length. I think the ones with the buldges are gen 1s. anyone?

Yes

Yep, the Gen 1's have flares on the fore & aft ends of the GE's, while the gen II's are only a little "beefier" to give the car a lower appearance vs. the stockers.

oh so true... I've checked fit on gen1 skirts in hopes of adding them to a gen2 but they don't align right with gen2 door caps.. also the dogleg doesn't fit right with the gen2 quarter, (anyone that saw Adam Varney's SHO at the convention may have noticed)
