So the chrome is peeling off the tail lights...shocker i know....rather then spending $400 on a new set I decided to experiment with some black plastidip. For $6 and a little bit of my time on a nice day I'm happy with the outcome. I even expanded my experiment to the grill. Attached a few before/after pics of each

I just did the rear tail light trim myself, today. came out pretty good, for first time with plasti dip. I plan on doing the nose too, similar to yours. However, am going to keep the top trim chrome, and dip the bars.

nice job.

Since my car is black I don't feel like doing my tail light trim.. I might just to stop looking at the peeling, but not sure. I did my grill inserts instead of the entire grill. Definitely like it better than stock. Might black out the middle bar too and leave the outside perimeter chrome like the 2013 style.

Ya mine is black too. That peeling really annoyed me and I was going to let it go, but I would be reminded every time I came up on the whip.

That nose looks good! But black out all bars and keep the emblem and trim chrome, for accent!

I took all badging off the rear deck lid...I like the clean look. Wish I could take the speer off too but then I'd have to do body work to flatten it out. Too much work for my daily driver. You can see it in the original pic I posted

I plan on getting the tint kit to smoke out the lights. I think it will look cleaner than the plastidip and better visibility of the lights

I didn't do the lights them self. I have heard too many stories about cars ending up, in your ass due to low visibility.

I have a krotch rockets too, so I can relate to not being seen.

I've seen all the badges removed and it looks good; but I want to keep the SHO badge too. The spear isn't horrible. But the ecoboost logo is. LOL.

I just bought a nose deflector too, to sharpen up the front. Will post when I get it and install.
