I found this on the Sync forum according to what this person said it fixed their time issue:

I finally brought my 2011 Edge in Today because of all the issues I have with myTouch/Nav/Sync ect - and needing an oil/****. The Clock was one of them - off by 1 hour when set to GPS Sync.

They applied what they called a "Recall Sync Upgrade", after which, my syncmyride account now shows about 6 additional firmware applied. The Clock is now working properly with GPS Sync ON, and DST ON!

Took them half a day to apply all the updates to Sync - thus a Dealer Installed option only! I hope all the other issues I have had are fixed....

Should it? Theoretically.

Does it? No.

Lexus is a bit more high-zoot than Ford.

Our 2006 Freestyle navi system prompts on "DST" if you want to chagne the time, (doesn't set the clock based on presnet position however) But there is no update for the change in DST dates that was shoved down our throats in 2008 or so AKA Bureaucractic Gov't Time).

Now it prompts on the wrong dates every year - I guess I should disable DST mode and only do it old school....

I think you now have to do it manually If I understand this.....all these units are programmed for the old change time which is the last Saturday/Sunday in March. (this morning at 2am)

For what it's worth I understand your dilemma and disappointment. What further aggravates and exacerbates the issue is that each province here in Canada has a choice to join the group and change --or not. So of course there's always some who don't want to -- . Therefore there is no uniformity......

I do my own reprogramming anyway. It's no biggie and only takes a short time.

I got an email from ford about an update that address the DST issue unfortunately the TSB they sent me was for the MYTOUCH systems TSB 10B20. I replied and asked them if there was one for the Sync I am waiting to here from them.

Mine didn't auto update and won't automatically. Do any of you know if the dealer has an update (firmware) to fix this?,
