eek!

I'd like to help you, but wow, where do I start. Reading your post (many times), it looks like you replaced the DIS/air temp sensor and it fixed your misfiring. Then you replaced the t-stat. Where is your temp gauge running after 10 minutes of idling?

We would like to help fellow SHO owners, but we need more info. And better english/typing skills wouldn't hurt either...

The fuel filter is located under the car, in front of the right rear tire. I changed them with the car on the ground, although it's easier with it jacked up. Just watch out for the gas that will leak out, although if you breath enough of it in, it may help your typing! j/k :D

Use it. If you aren't good at something, what do you do? Practice, concentrate on what you do wrong. In your case, typing.

You will get more responses and more help. I had to quit half way through your post, my eyes hurt.

Don't let these comments bother you, but you really should use a periord at the end of a sentence at least that much. It was really hard to read you post. Or, just state your issues like this:

my car misfires

where is the fuil filter

why cant i type

This way guy, no one will miss one of your important questions. When you change the fuel filter let us know.

Brandon,

Please do not be so thinned skinned, these folks are trying to help you. I type with two fingers, and I sit here with a dictionary, and a book on grammer and punctuation (and still screw it up). Separate your thoughts and questions, and what is wrong with the car.

Have you tried to check for codes, by doing the Key on engine Off (KOEO), and the Key on Engine Running (KOER) tests? If you had the check engine light come on there should be codes(usually).

What kind of thermostat did you put in the car. Did it have a little "jiggle valve", and did you put the jiggle valve "UP"? The valve allows air to escape and eventually end up in the overflow resevoir.

Check you codes and get back to us. And do not take offense to the constructive criticism, they are trying to help you because they want to, not because they have to. rangerj

Please go to school and learn how to communicate. You will have a much easier time dealing with the rest of the world if you choose to do so.

shrug Unfortunatly, the grammer has not improved.

Thats pretty sad when Scott does not want to help you. Just take your time, proof read, or even ask your parents to take a look over your writing. It also really helps to spell correctly. thumbs_u It makes it hard to understand your problem when we can not understand your words.

Brandon,

We are not making fun of you, we are trying to help you. If we told you that we understood what you are trying to tell us we would be lying to you, and that would not help you. Try working with us, and we will help you.

OK, you do not have any "stored" codes. Did you get any codes while running the "Key On Engine Running" test.

What do you mean, "it won't run when it is warmed up"? Does it just quit running? Does it stall? Or does it lack power, or seem like it is missing?
Just saying that it will not run does not give us much to work with.

Keep in mind we are not there to see and hear what you see and hear. We need you to tell us, in writing, what the car is doing, or not doing.

This is the most helpful, knowledgable, and experienced bunch of SHO owners you will find anywhere. They will not tollerate an attitude. They don't have to! rangerj

If your fuel pump is making unusual noises and not providing sufficient fuel pressure, then you should replace it.
