My buddy bought it, he replaced the tensioner and drove it around the block. I guess its running way rich. He's going to get it running alright so he can drive it while he does the eingine swap and stuff in his car.

I'm looking for the opposite effect on my '89... Anyone know of a good way to "fill" the clear portion of a lens to a amber tint? I think amber parking lamps are hot! Then again, the side markers aren't so long on the G1.

They can get pretty dark but the glowing effect at night looks really cool. That opinon may or may not be shared by your local law enforcement tho. What I would do if I were you is go to Your local autoparts store and pick up a set of 6-12 LED brake lights, they are illegal but it evens out in the end because of the tint on your tail lights, that way you will avoid the fuzz....

This is true, but I have also known Nite Shades to fade a bit after about 7 months of use. I have a friend who did his tail lights with a translucent vinyl. It looks TOTALLY awesome. No worries about coats, or drips... I'll posts pics soon.
