Ok the SHO is now running great again!

When I installed the timing covers the middle cover caused the bottom cover to stick out at the top on the left side...when I tried to reinstall the door that goes on the lower tbelt cover it wants to come in contact with the other acc belt. ohh well my mistake.
I am going to try and fix that up tuesday or wednesday and the car will be all good to go! I took it out for about a 5 mile trip to the gas station and she did great. I know it is not the best idea to drive with the timing cover door off but I just had to se how she was running.

One More thing. I tried adjusting the belt both ways but when my A/C compressor cuts on it is squeeky as ****. Is there a remidy for this? It has never been this bad.

Once again I would like to think everyone who has helped me get my baby back on the road "you guys know who you are!"

Thanks A Million,
Adam S.

To tighten the A/C belt you need to loosen the 14mm nut on the tensioner pulley and rotate the Allen screwe on the top of the tensioner bracket in the clockwise direction. You should tighten it until you can deflect the longest span of the belt only about 1/4" with a finger (or until the A/C clutch engagement doesn't cause a chirp).
