So yesterday, driving over to my house with my drummer, a fellow sho owner, I decided to sho him how much more pep my 89 has over his 90  .

I took 1st gear up to 5500 rpm then threw it in second and took it up to 6500RPM. It was great cause we were in the back of the seats the whole way :omg: . I mean, I could really feel the accelaration. It was great. The downside was that I learned that my car has a built in police chase deterent :naughty: . When I looked in the rear view mirror, I could see the nice long double stream of smoke, probably blue, too dark to see, all the way down the street.

Im right at the end of my cars first auto RX rinse, just did a tune up(valve cover seals, plug wells, plugs, cables, timing belt, accessory belts), just installed a 75mm Pro-M Bullet, put in a K&N filter, removed everything of the air box that is on the fender side, and finally got all the squeaks out of my front tokico/intrax setup.

Im hoping that after I finish my cars 2nd auto RX clean, the oil burning and oil consumption will drop off. I know I have to eventually do the valve stem seals, but wont be able to do it till next year.

Any suggestions? Any tips? Does this even warrant a response? Thanks in advance for the responses. :corn:

If its blue smoke, then you are probably running rich, which could be attributed to your new 75mm Pro-M.

Its always blown blue smoke. Even with the stock MAF. I think I also need to chage my o2 sensors, I've just been procrastinating.

I thought blue smoke was oil consumption and black smoke was the car running rich?

If its blue smoke the only thing that will clear that up properly is doing the seals..
if its white you have a big problem!
double check the color of it!

its blue. It has always been blue. What I meant originally was that it was too dark outside for me to see, through the rear view mirror ,what color it was. However, I'm pretty sure it was blue. I will find out exactly what color it is because im taking a trip to PA where my uncles Rodeo and my friends SHO will be following me. Im sure they will be able to see what color it is.
