I was looking through my time slips and i had a 2.515 for my fastest on street tires. I'm also 7000 feet above sea level. is that good/bad?

Thats not really good. I have managed a 2.2 60' on street tires, and some people on here have managed 2.1 60' on street tires. But if you have no experience on the strip its acceptable. I think my first time i ever went to a strip I had 2.6 60' foot. For instance with a 2.4 60ft i ran a 14.4 @ 99 but with a 2.2 60ft I ran a 14.2 @ 100 and that was all motor.

7,000 ASL? Are you running at Bandimere? If so, subtract about 1,200 feet.

My best 60' at Bandimere was with my near stock SHO with old worn out tires which was a 2.4 (15.8 @ 88mph). My best with the the SC car was a 2.5, however, my trap speed was about 22mph faster.

2.3 seems to be the norm for a decently driven SHO on street tires. With LOTS of practice, you should have no problem getting it down to a 2.2 assuming you have good tires and your suspension is in order.

My best so far on street tires is a 2.1 60', but my car is far from stock (Far less weight, far MORE suspension).

Gotten 1.8 60ft in my ATX. Seen it wore than once, so it's definitely possible but normally I was running 2.0-2.1 in my ATX. 2.1-2.2 is not that hard to come by on an MTX. With the right modifications you could see sub 2.2 on a regular basis.

Street tires. Gen 2 Subframe. Of course stock axles. We've already argued about it a bunch of times. That's neither here nor there. Another member did it at 2 different tracks, 2 different times; same setup as mine.

Somedude was busting 2.2-2.3's with bad tuning and torque management when he had his turbo ATX. I still have all of his time-slips. Including the record breaker.

GEN 3 subframe, solid mounts, cable mod and slicks with proper tuning could bust out 1.8's pretty consistently; maybe even lower IMO.

A. Not gonna argue. B. I don't care about your STI, no offense. C. There are plenty of STI's pulling sub 1.7 60 ft's

1.8, maybe lower??? Your talking AWD + torque or RWD + good tire territory. I'd still like to see the 1.8 slips as that is not a slip you should misplace... Or replicate it.

Ok, I don't usually say this, but slips or it didn't happen. What were your ETs and mods on these 1.8s 60' times?

I don't read everything SHO related, but I haven't seen anyone claim such low 60' times in a SHO before.
