going to firebird tonight

anyone wanting to go, doors open at 6. $10 bucks to get in and watch, $20 to race. i'm gonna be there tonight. if anyone needs the $10 to get in i'll spot ya.

I wont be racing tonight. rules stipulate all doors have to have functioning handles and my back passenger door seems to be disconnected and i dont have time between now and then to get it fixed, i got a cracked headlight lens and I still haven't done the valve cover gaskets and i think i got another oil leak somewhere.

going outside to empty out my car right now, guess i'll see whoever decides to show up, though i have a feeling it'll be just me and my SHO. if you guys do wanna show up, i'll be there in the green 1991 SHO plus, you'll be able to spot it with the T-bird slicers and the peeling clear coat. that and i'm 6'4" 300lbs and hard to miss.

i'm in Ahwatukee, 48th and warner. right off the freeway across from Ikea and ***** Sporting goods. about 10 minutes from the bird. i'm not going this weekend but i should be down there on the 19th around 6. its 20 bucks, you go through the most basic tech inspection ever and you can run a fair amount before it gets too crowded. believe it or not i think more people go to speedworld than out to firebird.

i got an oil leak i gotta fix, got the door fixed and the headlight wasn't a concern of theirs. just gotta have all the crap from the front (CDS, Radar detector, GPS, random stuff) in the trunk to go. its fun. i'm gonna find out what their rules are for food and stuff. i brought gatorade and soda and no one seemed to care.

Yep me too, on checking this forum that is.

Unfortunately, the last couple of months have been a nightmare with travel, people visiting, etc. Not that it was a nightmare having people visit, just really busy.

Maybe some other time.
