GM Synchromesh... yet another tranny fluid thread...

Autozone carries a Pennzoil Synchromesh. It comes in a yellow bottle (like the Lucas oil stabalizer bottle). It mentions it is a replacement for a couple of GM part #'s. It is $4.99/quart. Is this the good stuff Gen.1's like so well?

The Pennzoil syncromesh uses Pennzoil's infamous paraffinic base stock oils.

which is exactly what i have in my car and worked wonders..... i'm not postitive, and won't be till proven otherwise, that penzoil doesn't make the stuff for GM....
