The last time I saw those things going for over $50 a long while ago. I emailed the poor bastard and told him yuo can buy each one for $12 from the dealer. He never replied so I guess he deserved to be robbed if he didn't listen. And who the **** is selling them for that much?

A smart man...if people don't do their research, they deserve to be ripped off. If I had some, I would sell them on there too. That is just good economics. Supply/demand, baby. Whatever people are willing to pay, go get it.

How well do those things really work anyway? I guess for $12 they can't work that well, huh?

Can you really feel the difference?

Is it true if you mount it upside down, that you can still use your hood struts? I hate the 1 x 1 lumber hood prop look with a 'glass hood.

I guess you could do that but no one would ever think these things are from GM and are made for a GTP and are $12 and not everyone cruises the forums. Some naive guy guy sees them and wants them and gets dicked. Not cool. BUt you do have a point me thinks.

Cool, Thanx Prophet. Looks like I'm going to my local GM dealer.

Is there any truth to the rumor about using it upside down so that you can still use the hood struts?

Hmm I don't think so but it's easy to relocate your hood struts.

OMG, its past $75 now. I though I was getting a good deal when I sold my extra one for $20.

Does anyone know what vehicle these GM strut braces are made for?

Or is there a part number so that I can go get one? - Front and rear?

Let me know......I don't want to be a sucker like the guys on Ebay......

$106!!! Fellas, I think we need to look into investing in some GM parts thumbs_u I thought about e-mailing the high bidder that he was being taken about 3 days ago. I decided that any SHO modder with an internet connection who doesn't know about this forum deserves to be taken. Here's to the knucklehead taking em for a long walk off a short plank beer P.S. I hope the seller tells him that he will have to drill 2 new holes in his strut tower to fasten it properly. On second thought, I hope he doesn't. tool

The auction said no hardware. It didn't mention anything about Software. wink
