Glass hood repair err... Plastic Hood Repair

hooddamage.JPG

Whats the best way to go about fixing this problem in this fiberglass plus hood I just purchased? Can I just touch up or do I have to do something else so that the fiberglass doesn't get any more damaged? If I wanted to fill the damage so its flat again what product should I use (is bondo ok on fiberglass?) Thanks.

is the damage soft or crunchy to the touch ? if so, itll have to be cut out and a new patch put in. if the structure is still sound without any damage behind it, then a simple fill and sand would suffice.

i wouldnt use Bondo on figerglass. there are figerglass repair kits available at your local auto parts store.
