When I was pulling apart the front end of my '90, I didn't find anything under the bumper cover that wasn't supposed to be there shrug . In any case, The front bumper is in fact just a plastic piece which covers a styrofoam impact absorber and the standard steel bumper. AFAIK, the structural portions of the bumper would be the same, since the general shape of the bumper is the same, with the only exception being the lower valance.jelloslug:
The hood is SHO specific (but is very similar to a Sable hood if the SHO hood was metal). The fenders would work and at the most you might need to drill a few holes for the body cladding. The front bumper is an odd setup (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but the outside cover is just a cover, and underneath is a standard Taurus bumper without the lower valance. The headlights, turnsignals, cornering lights, and grill are the same. The pieces between the headlights and the bumper are SHO specific. All of this info applys to 89-91 first gens.
That's actually just the rear bumper. It's just a urethane cover over the SLO bumper.jelloslug:
