Gingerman Saturday 5/26/2012 via Auto Interests.

Here's my lame (!!) videos!! Go Pro was acting up, so I only got my own videos in the rain. Cleared up in the afternoon and turned out great!! Vince Sobolewski came with me in his yellow Mach 1 in the videos. Jeremy (Jayro) is in the blue Gen 2 in the videos, plus in my Rain videos. Part 2 has my "agricultural" 4-wheel-off in the rain!

Rained all morning through lunch, hence my Rain videos. Cleared up after lunch very nicely, plus it didn't get anywhere near the mid 80s, thankfully!

Had a great time!! Hung out with Jeremy & Zach Leahy, who I hadn't seen in awhile.

Thanks for posting the video's. It was great to put some faces with some names.

It was fun chasing Vince around the track in his Mach 1. The yellow made it easy to spot him.

I'm really glad that we got half of a good day on Saturday. Rain is no fun!!

Probably hafta plan on getting the SHO back from KY in the next week or so. The SVT did great. Tires worked well, XP10s worked great (Carbotechs Rule anyhow!!). It handles very well....in the dry!!

Just that I don't think it has enough beans to handle a longer course. Waterford Hills would be PERFECT for the SVT, short & tight.

Granted, their aren't as many seriously hot cars running in the Advanced class at a SHO Convention as there were at Gingerman the other day, so I wouldn't be spending as much tme waving people by. I would probably find myself daydreaming on long stretches of track in the SVT.

Time to get the Tokicos and springs together for the white '89. All it really needs for a decent track outing, wheels/tires/brakes are already good to go.

some (almost all) of the cars in advanced were really fast. There was a couple sessions I felt like I was spending more time out there waving people by than racing. Day 2 was much more tame though + I ran a session or 2 in novice as well as advanced to let jayro and another guy follow in my line rather than me barking suggestions from the passenger seat. I feel that probably made it a bit easier for them to put the car where their mind was trying to tell their body to put the car if that makes sense... I did a few laps easy then started turning up the heat each lap to see when they would start backing off. It was fun
