Getting the crap out

I have my old cat's honeycomb sitting in my mufflers. Anyway to get that out without replacing them?

My only "guess" is to hook up a shop vac or vacuum backwards and blow backwards through the exhaust system with the Y-pipe off the car. I have no idea if there is a one way valve on the mufflers....a exhaust shop should be able to tell you that....

The only other way I can see is taking the whole system off or just the mufflers and grabbing whatever is in their with a pliers and pulling it out. If your mufflers are welded on then taking the whole system off is probably your only option.

basically you cant if it made it past a baffle pipe into a chamber.
