On ebay, we can buy the actual manual including all wiring diagrams, etc, on ebay for $8. Check it out...ebay motors, search ford under manuals.

I would suggest checking into it before buying. I was warned that you must have the Ford master program in order to open up the cd manual.

I bought one several months ago and it works fine. It's pretty much word-for-word and diagram-for-diagram of the shop and EVTM manuals. I still like to have the printed copies in the car though since the PC may not always be convenient.

It was a straightforward install with no special keys, etc. required. It was originally written for Windows 3.0 though, so it's a little kludgy in places.

FWIW, I just picked up a 96-03 Ford Service DVD on eBay for a '96 schematic I needed, and WOW! It's really well set up, and in addition it has every TSB, recall, etc. from 1989 to present (mine is the August '02 edition), so it's great even for Gen I & II SHO's. Great deal for $45!

The Ford manuals on CD are the excat same as the printed Helm manual but are all manuals in one and for all Ford cars of that year.

The truck manuals are for all Ford trucks of that year. Some earlier years have both cars and trucks or, more than one year on them. They made several different version through out the year especially with the later years (+93) new ones. You do not need the master disk.

The master disk has the tsbs and recall data plus other dealer junk on them. The master disk also requires the most up to date version of any indivdual year. But each year can be ran independately.
