The thing was though was to have enough people interested to have them made. Here is how you put it.

These will be a 3 pillar pod to cover the most needs. We dont have pictures and we wont untill they are made and they wont be made till we get enough intrest.

So if you are intrested in a pillar pod around $60 that will fit in the stock location and hold 3 gauges let me know.

Interested in the pillar pods. We have enough interested people. 5 poeple have paid, need more paid poeple to have them made.
Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought you was going to have them made if there was enough interested people and for around $60.
Sure I see the mock up. But whats gone on here is all the risk is put on all the people who front their money. Plus who knows how long they got to wait to try and reach enough people to have them made. So if they come out like crap then they are just stuck. I can understand group buys on things that are already made. A person or company will lower their price a little if they know their going to sell so many of something. But in this case I don't even think that happened, plus there not even made. So as a company, why don't you who whoever just make them up and pay for a batch of them and assume all the risk of what they look like and selling. I'm sure if they are O.K. as in look good(a finished product to see)you would have no problem in selling them. Even if it is at the $79 price. I'm just not sure on the price difference between the Gen I & II's compared to the III's. Isn't the same people going to make them? From the reviews on the I & II's there shouldn't be a problem selling them.
Now if you meant from the get go on what you are doing. Then you need to express yourself correctly about hows it is going to happen. Plus reading the description on the website on them on how many people you need is really confusing?
I just don't like buying something that is not made and can't see.

I really want one of these too, but I am not sure what they will look like.. There must be some design done in order to set a price, no? Honestly I would rather spend $99 on one of these knowing exactally what it will look like, and knowing it will come soon..

I've been watching this for some time now, and with 6 orders in 3 weeks.. At that rate.. July or August.. And then how long will production be.. Will this be a Christmas present?

I'll probably still order one anyway because I want one bad, but I think it will be a slow group by because of these concerns I'm sure everyone has. Is there a deadline on this? Where did all the people from TCCA go who said they wanted one?

:corn:

Edit: I also find the website confusing.. 20 to get made.. But 30 for the group buy.. Does that mean even once they are made, I'll still have to wait to get one until 10 more people pay, and those last 10 will get to see a finished product before ordering..

you can get this one today for $38.
at the very least...pick out and install your gauges. that's the most time consuming part of the process.
then, once the SHO Shop finally gets the pillars made, you can swap in. that way you're only out $38.
and, that's only if the SHO Shop pod ever gets made.

If you check out the group buy thread you will be able to see a mock up. They will end up looking like the Gen 1/2 pillars.

Now if everyone is waiting for everyone then well this will not go anywhere. If you want it then order it. If it doesnt happen then we will refund you your money no problem.

As far as the $60 estimate, well I didnt have a quote at the time, it was an estimate. So I am sorry about that.

I am not sure if there is enough intrest for them. We have people "intrested" but not enough willing to put out money for them. If you want to wait for them to be made then thats fine, it might take longer to have them made.

The mold making will take 1-4 weeks
Initial production will be 3-4 weeks

They will be shipped within a week of final production.

Hey everyone, from experience with SHOBros and a group buy done with them before (vulcan UDP buy) things will go very smoothly once the people who are interested front the money, trust me its worth it.

Why all the negativity? If you don't want them don't buy them.

Sho Shop is long gone and I am glad someone is getting things made for the Gen 3.

We are down to needing only 1 more to buy in on this in order to get this triple pillar pod to everyone's door. Anyone want to be that one? :)
